Sailboat History
October, 2020 – Checked and found that Shaun still owns the Bristol 27 and sails it in Lake Lanier. Sometime between 2014 and 2020, the boat’s name changed from “La Villa Strangiato” to “Free Will”. Here’s a few updated images:

November, 2014 – I got lucky. The previous owner was 90% through restoring it and he decided he was too old to keep going, plus his wife didn’t like sailing. I had built my previous boat so I was excited to have a classic to work on. All I know so far is the owner before him was an expert wood worker. He built the cool hatch covers and the anchor rode trunk.
Also the inside is totally custom. When I bought it I didn’t even know all of that teak existed. He had taken it all off during restoration. He brought over a truck filled with great teak work. Like the mirror vanity and the hatches. I couldn’t believe my luck. I Added the stern bench and the cabin table plus a bimini.
